About me
I’m a 25 year old developer from Birmingham, UK with a passion for building web applications and frameworks. I work professionally as a senior front end developer, specialising in Angular and unit testing.
In my free time, I enjoy creating my own projects - sometimes they serve a purpose, and sometimes they’re just for fun. This includes CLI tools, frameworks and full stack applications.
At the moment, I’ve been putting my heart and soul in to my latest app, Scoop. This is my biggest and most comprehensive project to date, including a full role-based authentication system, PWA support, notifications and much more. I actually paid for hosting this time.
I’ve also been very busy rebuilding a large AngularJS project, using the newest technologies including Nx for monorepo management.

Using Angular with Ionic to build an online events application to be used on desktop, Android and iPhones. Played an important role in improving accessibility of the application. Introduced to new technologies such as Storybook and NgRx.

After learning web development for a couple of months, I jumped right in to building websites for friends and clients. Using wordpress and static site generators, I created a range of websites from academic portfolios to construction company brochure sites.

Whilst studying at the University of Birmingham, I completed modules from a wide range of disciplines, including mathematics, software development and data analysis. I achieved a 1st class grade for my final year project (dissertation) in the field of visual analytics.
